Hi! I'm Heather, owner of Nest Well.
Organizing has long been my passion, and I'm excited to share that enthusiasm with others.
About Me:I left a career in management and training to care for my children, one of whom has ADHD and High Functioning Autism. It was frustrating and stressful to watch my bright, creative child struggle because of challenges with disorganization. I spent the next 10 years dedicated to learning everything I could about executive function and organization. What began as a journey to help my child have a better quality of life turned into a genuine passion for organizing, and I'm excited to share that enthusiasm with others. Over the years, I have seen my own life improve as I implemented new habits and organizational strategies. Being more organized reduces stress, improves focus and attention, increases productivity and gives me more time to enjoy the things that matter most. My Goal:I want to approach organizing in a fun, motivating, and realistic way. Organization isn't just for those with a knack for it, and I strongly feel the process of organizing your space and time is attainable for all. My Specialties:I specialize in challenging disorganization and am an ICD Chronic Disorganization Specialist® and ICD Time Management and Productivty Specialist. In addition, I hold the following certificates of study from the Institute for Challenging Disorganization:
In addition to my work with challenging disorganization, I am a Trustworthy Certified ExpertTM. As a TCE, I am part of a select group of professionals who are dedicated to helping families organize, protect and optimize their important information, digitally. This education has equipped me to serve clients affected by chronic disorganization with targeted strategies, skills and techniques. I am aware of safety and neurological issues that may impact my client, and know of resources available in our community. |
My Memberships:
I am a proud member of the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD). The ICD's mission is to provide education, research and strategies to benefit people affected by chronic disorganization, and the professionals who work with them.
I am also a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and I adhere to NAPO's guiding principles of integrity, and professionalism. I am committed to continuing my education by attending professional workshops, conferences and further education classes and certifications through the ICD and NAPO.
